Current Invicta bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger will face Helena Kolesnyk at Invicta FC 24.

Kolesnyk was originally expected to face Megan Anderson for the featherweight title but Anderson was picked up by the UFC to face Cris Cyborg for the UFC 145-lb title. Evinger stepped up instead and the bout was demoted to a three-round, non-title fight.

The news was announced on the UFC's website on Tuesday.

This fight marks Kolesnyk’s (5-0) promotional debut. She has stopped four of her five opponents in the first round and one in the second. Her most recent victory is a 25-second TKO of Tatiana Portnova at a regional show in Russia.

Evinger (19-5) is on an 11-fight unbeaten streak with her most recent win being a second-round rear-naked choke win over Yana Kunitskaya. She previously faced Kunitskaya at IFC 20 where she originally suffered a controversial submission loss that was overturned by the Missouri Athletic Commission. Seven of the wins on her current streak come by way of stoppage.
