The UFC has announced the addition of three matchups to UFC 210.
Light-heavyweights Jan Blachowicz and Patrick Cummins will be squaring off on the card in addition to a featherweight bout between Charles Rosa and Shane Burgos and a women’s bantamweight bout between Katlyn Chookagian and Irene Aldana.
The card takes place on April 8 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York and will be headlined by a title fight between 205-lb champion Daniel Cormier and #1 contender Anthony Johnson. The event will become the fifth to be held in the state, which hadn’t legalized the sport until 2016.
Blachowicz (19-6) has gone 2-3 since entering the UFC in 2014 and is coming off of a decision loss to two-time title challenger Alexander Gustafsson. Cummins (8-4), meanwhile, is coming off of back-to-back TKO losses to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Glover Teixeira.
Rosa (11-2) is 2-1 in his last three bouts with the most recent one being a unanimous decision win over UFC newcomer Kyle Bochniak. Prior to that, he won Fight of the Night honors in a split-decision loss to featherweight prospect Yair Rodriguez. Burgos (8-0) made his debut at UFN 102 in December where he beat Tiago dos Santos by unanimous decision.
This bout will be Aldana’s (7-3) second under the UFC banner. Her first was a decision to Leslie Smith which broke her two-fight streak in Invicta. Chookagian (8-1) is 1-1 in the UFC after suffering her first professional defeat to Liz Carmouche at UFC 205.
