Ryan LaFlare injured, Kamaru Usman fills in to face Alexander Yakovlev in Chicago
<p>Ryan LaFlare was <a href="http://mmajunkie.com/2016/06/kamaru-usman-in-for-injured-ryan-laflare-vs-alexander-yakovlev-at-ufc-on-fox-20">forced out of his UFC on FOX 20 bout </a>against Alexander Yakovlev after suffering from an undisclosed injury and has been replaced by up-and-comer Kamaru Usman.</p>
<p>Usman (7-1) is coming off of the first decision-victory of his career which came against Leon Edwards last December at UFC on FOX 17. Prior to that, the 28-year old Nigerian won <em>The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs Blackzilians</em> with a second-round arm triangle submission victory over Hayder Hassan in July. Usman turned pro back in 2012 and went 5-1 with all victories coming by TKO before being signed by the UFC.</p>
<p>Alexander Yakovlev (23-6-1) has bounced back after a rough 0-2 start to his UFC career by scoring back-to-back wins. After a decision loss to Nico Musoke, Yakovlev dropped down to lightweight and beat Gray Maynard via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 63. More recently, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq_HbK0c6sg">the Russian rapper</a> knocked out George Sullivan in the first round at UFC on FOX 18 in January in what was his return to welterweight</p>
<p>UFC on FOX 20 will take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The card will be headlined by a bantamweight bout between Valentina Shevchenko and former champion Holly Holm. In the coheadliner, Anthony Johnson faces Glover Teixeira in a possible #1 contender bout.</p>
