Magomedov (14-1) has been one of the most promising up-and-coming heavyweight prospects in the UFC in recent memory. He has gone 3-0 in the UFC so far with his most recent win being a unanimous decision over Shawn Jordan at UFC 192. Magomedov also holds a unanimous decision win over Tim Sylvia outside of the UFC.
No replacement has been announced yet to face Gonzaga.
Gonzaga (17-10) is 1-3 in his last four bouts. He snapped his three-fight winless streak by beating Konstantin Erokhin by unanimous decision last December.
UFC Fight Night 86 takes place on April 10 in Zagreb, Croatia. The event will be the UFC’s first in Croatia.
