<p>Ross Pearson (18-10, 1 NC) will make a quick return from his last fight, a unanimous decision loss to Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 81 that happened less than 10 days ago. Pearson has had a relatively inconsistent streak recently as he is 3-4 in his last 7 bouts and hasn’t manage to rack up 2 wins in a row. His recent wins include a split-decision over Paul Felder and a knockout over Sam Stout, where he earned a Performance of the Night bonus.</p>

<p>Abel Trujillo (13-7, 1 NC) has won 3 of his last 5, with all fights ending via knockout or submission. One of those wins include a knockout over Jamie Varner in a vicious brawl where he earned both Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night bonuses. Recently, he lost a fight to Gleison Tibau via submission <a href="http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/11/11/9716042/abel-trujillo-will-appeal-loss-to-gleison-tibau-at-ufc-fight-night-77">in a controversial stoppage, </a>where the referee stopped the fight before Trujillo tapped out. His latest fight was a submission victory over Tony Sims at UFC 195.</p>
