Rivera vs Perez, Hamilton vs Grabowski added to UFC 201

Two new matchups have been added to the UFC 201 lineup.

The main event will feature welterweight champion Robbie Lawler as he looks to defend his title against #3 ranked Tyron Woodley. The co-headliner, also a title fight, will be between Demetrious Johnson and Wilson Reis with the winner facing the winner of TUF 24. The latest bouts announced on the card are a heavyweight matchup between Anthony Hamilton and Damian Grabowski as well as a bantamweight fight between Francisco Rivera and Erik Perez.

After a Fight of the Night loss to John Lineker, Francisco Rivera (11-6, 1 NC) faced Brad Pickett in his hometown of London where he ended up on the wrong side of a controversial split-decision. Rivera’s last win came over Alex Caceres who he knocked out in just 21 seconds. Erik Perez (15-6), a product of the Jackson’s MMA camp in New Mexico, is coming off of a decision win over Taylor Lapilus at UFC Fight Night 78. The 26-year old began his UFC career in 2012 with a three-fight win streak with three finishes before suffering a split-decision loss to Takeya Mizugaki.

Anthony Hamilton (14-5) has gone 2-2 in his past four bouts, scoring wins over Daniel Omielańczuk and Ruan Potts and suffering losses to Shamil Abdurakhimov and Todd Duffee. Damian Grabowski (20-3), who will be making his second UFC appearance, is coming off of a knockout loss to Derrick Lewis at UFC Fight Night 82 in his debut.

UFC 201 will be held at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 30.
