Michael Graves out of UFN 100 bout due to arrest

Michael Graves will no longer be fighting at UFC Fight Night 100.

The rising welterweight and TUF alum was expected to face Sergio Moraes in Sao Paulo on November 19 but was pulled from the bout following an arrest last weekend. The UFC released a statement on the issue which can be read below:

“The UFC organization is aware that Michael Graves was arrested over the weekend on a misdemeanor battery charge. The organization takes this situation seriously and is in the process of gathering more information. Graves has been removed from his scheduled bout on Nov. 19 as a result of the pending legal matter.”

Graves (6-0-1) has yet to suffer a loss in his professional career and is coming off of a draw against Bojan Veličković at UFC 201 in July.

Also coming off of a draw is Moraes (10-2-1) who went the distance with Luan Chagas at UFC 198 earlier this year. So far, a new opponent for him has not been announced.

UFC Fight Night 100 will be headlined by a rematch between light-heavyweights Ryan Bader and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
