Marcin Held vs Dave Jansen added to Bellator 155

Former title challengers Marcin Held and Dave Jansen are set to fight in a rematch at Bellator 155.

The card will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Rafael Carvalho and Melvin Manhoef. Also on the card is former Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran who will face Georgi Karakhanyan. The event takes place on May 20 at the CenturyLink arena in Boise, Idaho.

Marcin Held (21-4) is 6-1 in his last seven bouts which includes four submissions and one knockout. In late 2014, Held won the Bellator Lightweight Season 10 tournament by beating Patricky Friere via unanimous decision. He moved on to face Alexander Sarnavskiy at Bellator 136, winning via kneebar to earn his shot at the title. The 24-year old lost to Will Brooks via unanimous decision despite nearly submitting Brooks in the first round.

Dave Jansen (20-3) faced Marcin Held back in 2013 at Bellator 93, winning a unanimous decision. That win became part of a seven-fight win streak which included victories over Ricardo Tirloni and Rick Hawn. The streak earned him a shot at the Bellator lightweight title at Bellator 136 where he dropped a unanimous decision to Will Brooks.
