Kimbo Slices son set to face Johnny Tomasian in MMA debut

Kevin Ferguson Jr., son of MMA star Kimbo Slice, will be making his Bellator debut this month.

Last week, the promotion announced that they had signed “Baby Slice” for his first professional MMA fight, which is set to take place at Bellator 160. MMAJunkie has confirmed with Bellator officials that his debut will be at 170 pounds against Johnny Tomasian, who will also be fighting as a professional for the first time.

Ferguson Jr. (1-0, amateur MMA) faced Tom Brink in his amateur debut at Warrior Nation XFA XII and won the bout with a knockout in just 83 seconds. Tomasian (2-0, amateur MMA), on the other hand, has two amateur wins under his belt, a unanimous decision and a TKO.

Bellator 160 is set to take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on August 26 and will be headlined by lightweights Benson Henderson vs Patricio Freire. The card will be a part of a combat-sports double header which features an event promoted by Premier Boxing Champions the following night.
