UFC flyweights Justin Scoggins and Ray Borg will meet at UFC 196 in Las Vegas, as per MMAFighting.com.
Justin Scoggins (10-2) was signed by the UFC in 2013 with a 7-0 record at just 21 years of age. He tasted success early on with a first round TKO victory over Richie Vaculik in his debut and then a unanimous decision win over Will Campuzano. The undefeated fighter went on to lose two in a row against Dustin Ortiz and John Moraga. In his most recent fight, Scoggins won a unanimous decision over Josh Sampo.
Ray Borg (9-1) was also signed by the UFC as an undefeated young fighter, with 6 pro wins under his belt at the age of 20. Borg is coming off of a 3-fight win streak with two of the three wins being submissions that earned him Performance of the Night bonuses.
UFC 196 is headlined by the rematch between current heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum and former champion Cain Velasquez and will take place on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas.
