John Lineker to face Michael McDonald in UFN 91 co-main event
<p>#11 ranked bantamweight <a href="http://roughcopy.com/fighters/john-lineker">John Lineker</a> is set to face #6 ranked <a href="http://roughcopy.com/fighters/michael-mcdonald">Michael McDonald</a> in the <a href="http://www.ufc.com/news/michael-mcdonald-to-fight-john-lineker-at-fight-night-sioux-falls-july-13">co-main event of UFC Fight Night 91.</a></p>
<p>Lineker (27-7) has won four straight bouts with two stoppages. After missing weight four times at flyweight, Lineker was forced to move back up to bantamweight where he faced Francisco Rivera and won via first-round submission in the <em>Fight of the Night</em>. In his last bout, he beat Rob Font via unanimous decision at <a href="http://roughcopy.com/events/ufc-198">UFC 198</a> in Curitiba, Brazil.</p>
<p>After a two-year hiatus due to multiple hand injuries, Michael McDonald (17-3) made his return to competition last January against Masanori Kanehara and won via rear-naked-choke in the second round to win a <em>Performance of the Night </em>bonus. Before being sidelined from the sport, McDonald had strung together an eight-fight win streak and challenged Renan Barao for the interim bantamweight title, losing via submission in the fourth round.</p>
<p><a href="http://roughcopy.com/events/ufc-fight-night-91">UFC Fight Night 91</a> will be the first UFC event to be held in South Dakota and will take place on July 13. The main event features a pivotal lightweight bout between Michael Chiesa and Tony Ferguson.</p>
