James Krause injured, Stevie Ray steps in to face Ross Pearson

James Krause has been forced out of his UFC Fight Night 99 bout against Ross Pearson with a torn hamstring and will be replaced by Stevie Ray.

The event is set to take place at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 19 and will be headlined by the rematch between Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall. The co-main event features a heavyweight bout between former Bellator champion Alexander Volkov against #15 ranked Timothy Johnson.

Ray (19-6) made his debut in 2015 against Marcin Bandel and won the bout with a second-round TKO to kick off his UFC career. He moved on to TKO Leonardo Mafra in the first round and win a unanimous decision against Mickael Lebout to extend his win streak to five straight. Most recently, he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Alan Patrick at UFC Fight Night 95.

Pearson (19-12, 1 NC) is coming off of back-to-back losses to Jorge Masvidal and Will Brooks. Prior to that he won a split-decision over Chad Laprise at UFC Fight Night 85. He is 2-3 in his last five fights.
