Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall will go at it for the second time in the main event of UFC Fight Night 99.
The card was originally expected to be headlined by Gunnar Nelson vs Dong Hyun Kim but an ankle injury forced Nelson off the card. The UFC announced that Kim would be rescheduled to fight on a later card while Nelson recovers from his injury.
Mousasi and Hall first met at UFC Fight Night 75 in September 2015 where Hall won the bout with a highlight-reel spinning back kick to flying knee knockout in the second round. The finish earned him his first $50K post-fight bonus.
Mousasi (40-6-2) has won five of his last six bouts with the single loss being the one to Hall. The former Strikeforce champion has won three straight which includes knockouts over Thiago Santos and Vitor Belfort.
Hall (12-7) is coming off of a first-round TKO loss to Derek Brunson in a fight that was arguable stopped too early by the ref. Prior to that he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 193, snapping his two-fight knockout streak.
UFC Fight Night 99 is set to take place at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 19.
