Galvao vs Davis, Honeycutt vs Reiter added to Bellator double-header

Two bouts have been added to Bellator 166, which is the first event of a weekend double-header on December 2.

The promotion announced that former bantamweight champion Marcos Galvao will be taking on LC Davis in addition to a middleweight bout between Chris Honeycutt and Ben Reiter. Both fights will take place on the main card.

Galvao (17-7-1) is coming off of the loss of his 135-lb title to Eduardo Dantas, who beat him by unanimous decision at Bellator 156. Prior to that, the former champion had won four straight including stoppages of Joe Warren, Tom McKenna, and Shely Santana. Davis (23-7) last fought in September 2015 where he suffered a decision loss to Warren, snapping his three-fight win streak.

After suffering a TKO loss to Paul Bradley at Bellator 148, Honeycutt (8-1) got himself back in the win column with back-to-back decision victories over Matt Secor and Mikkel Parlo. Reiter (17-1-1) suffered his first professional loss to Francisco France in November last year, breaking his 16-fight unbeaten streak. After that, Reiter beat AJ Matthews by decision at Bellator 156.

Bellator 166 will be held at the Winstar World Casino & Resort and will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Eduardo Dantas and Joe Warren.
