Four bouts have been announced for the next UFC on FOX event, which takes place in Chicago.
Alexander Yakovlev (23-6-1) will be facing Ryan LaFlare in a welterweight bout. Yakovlev is 2-2 in the UFC so far which includes a unanimous decision win over Gray Maynard and a first round knockout against George Sullivan. LaFlare (12-1) entered the UFC in 2013 as an undefeated 7-0 prospect, continuing his winning ways for his next four bouts before suffering his first loss against Damien Maia. Most recently, LaFlare beat Mike Pierce via unanimous decision.
Also on the card is the return of Alex ‘Cowboy’ Oliveira against James Moontasri. Oliveira (14-3-1, 1NC) recently had his three-fight win streak snapped by Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC Fight Night 83. Prior to that, the Brazilian scored a third-round knockout over Piotr Hallman to earn his first Performance of the Night bonus. Moontasri (9-3) enters the bout with a 2-2 UFC record. The Taekwondo black-belt impressed in his last bout when he knocked out Anton Zafir with a spinning back kick followed by a spinning back fist.
Also on the card is George Sullivan vs Hector Urbina and a heavyweight bout between undefeated promotional newcomer Dmitry Smolyakov and Luis Henrique.
UFC on FOX 20 will take place on July 23 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
