Two matchups have been added to UFC Fight Night 108 in Nashville.
The UFC announced on Friday that Bryan Barberena and Joe Proctor will meet in a lightweight bout and a report by the Los Angeles Daily News revealed that welterweights Jake Ellenberger and Mike Perry will also meet on the card.
Barberena (12-4) is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Colby Covington at UFC on FOX 22 in December. Before that, he scored back-to-back upset victories over Sage Northcutt and Warlley Alves. Proctor (11-4) has alternated between wins and losses in his past four bouts last fought at UFC 194 where he suffered a first round TKO to Magomed Mustafaev.
Ellenberger (31-12) has gone 1-3 in his past four outings and is coming off of a first-round TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal in a fight that was stopped after Ellenberger couldn’t defend himself because his foot was caught between the cage and the canvas. Prior to that, he beat Matt Brown by first-round TKO at UFC 201. Perry (9-1) suffered the first loss of his career to Alan Jouban at UFC on FOX 22. The bout was his third in the UFC with the other two being knockout wins over Hyun Gyu Lim and Danny Roberts.
UFC Fight Night 108 will be held at the Bridgestone Arena on April 22 and will be headlined by Cub Swanson vs Artem Lobov.
