Junior Dos Santos and Stefan Struve are set to clash for the second time in the main event of UFC Fight Night 105.
The pair first met in 2009 at UFC 95 where a 7-1 Dos Santos knocked out a 16-3 Struve in just 54 seconds, the third win of what became a ten-fight win streak.
The bout was announced by the UFC on Wednesday. The event takes place at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on February 19.
Dos Santos (18-4) is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Ben Rothwell in the main event of UFC Zagreb last April. Prior to that, he suffered a second-round knockout loss to Alistair Overeem in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 17. He is currently ranked #4 in the division and is 3-2 in his last five fights.
Struve (28-8) is coming off of back-to-back stoppage victories after suffering a decision loss to Jared Rosholt in November 2015. He knocked out Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in 16 seconds at UFC Rotterdam in May and followed that up with a second-round submission over Daniel Omielańczuk at UFC 204.
