The Bellator 170 card has been finalized with the addition of two new bouts.
The promotion announced on Wednesday that Derek Campos will be facing Derek Anderson in a lightweight bout on the main card while a women’s flyweight bout between Rebecca Ruth and Colleen Schneider will take place on the prelims.
Campos (17-6) is coming off of back to back wins over Melvin Guillard and Djamil Chan. Prior to that, he suffered stoppage losses to Brandon Gritz and Michael Chandler. Anderson (14-2) is 2-1 in his last three outings with the victories being decisions over Patricky Freire and Saad Awad.
Ruth (6-2) suffered a submission loss to Ilima MacFarlane at Bellator 157 in June, snapping her four-fight win streak. The streak consisted of three TKO stoppage wins and one unanimous decision. Schneider (10-7) also had a four-fight win streak snapped after suffering a decision loss to Tonya Evinger in an Invicta bantamweight title fight in May.
Bellator 170 takes place on January 21 at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. The card will be headlined by a bout between former UFC stars Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz.
