Brian Ortega vs Clay Guida slated for UFC 199
<p>Undefeated prospect Brian Ortega will face Clay Guida <a href="http://www.ufc.com/news/Ortega-Battles-Guida-at-UFC-199">in his next bout in June.</a></p>
<p>Ortega (10-0, 1 NC) last fought at UFC 195 when he faced fellow BJJ black-belt Diego Brandao. After being down two rounds in a fight that mostly took place on the feet, Ortega managed to bring Brandao to the ground and submit him with a triangle choke. Prior to that bout, “T-City” faced Thiago Tavares, who he beat via TKO late in the third round in a <em>Fight of the Night </em>performance.</p>
<p>Clay Guida (32-16) is 3-3 in his past six bouts with the most recent being an early first-round submission loss to Thiago Tavares. The 34-year old’s last victory came over Robbie Peralta at UFC Fight Night 63 where he won a unanimous decision. Guida is a veteran over 48 professional fights and began his MMA career back in 2003.</p>
<p>The bout will take place at UFC 199 which will be held at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. The card will be headlined by a rematch between former champion Chris Weidman and current middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. In the co-main event. Urijah Faber will face long-time rival and current bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz in a rubber-match.</p>
