Six bouts added to UFC Fight Night Portlanda
<p>The UFC Fight Night 96 card is starting to shape up after the promotion announced the <a href="http://www.ufc.com/news/Six-Bouts-Added-to-Portland-Card">addition of six bouts today.</a></p>
<p>UFC Fight Night 96 will be the first UFC event in Portland, Oregon in over seven years and is set to take place on October 1 at the Moda Center. Announced matchups on the card include Will Brooks vs Alex Oliveira, Josh Burkman vs Bobby Green, and Sergio Pettis vs Louis Smolka.</p>
<p>Brooks (19-1) made a successful UFC debut last month against Ross Pearson at <em>The Ultimate Fighter 23</em> finale where he won a unanimous decision. His opponent, Alex Oliveira (15-3-1, 1 NC), who has fought at welterweight, is coming off of a recent decision win over James Moontasri at UFC on FOX 20.</p>
<p>Bobby Green (23-7) had an eight fight win streak snapped by Edson Barboza in 2014 which was followed up by another loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 199. Burkman (28-13, 1 NC) has 1-3 with 1 no contest since being resigned by the UFC in January of last year.</p>
<p>Currently on a four-fight win streak, Louis Smolka (11-1) has finished three of his last four opponents, earning himself two post-fight bonuses. Pettis (14-2) is coming off of back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Chris Kelades and Chris Cariaso.</p>
<p>Other confirmed bouts are Walt Harris vs Shamil Abdurakhimov, Tamdan McCroy vs Nate Marquardt, and Kelly Faszholz vs Ketlen Vieira.</p>
