Bellator 160 will feature a lightweight bout between Saad Awad and Derek Anderson as well as the pro debuts of Kevin Ferguson Jr. and Joey Davis.

At Bellator 154, Awad (19-7) moved up to welterweight to face Evangelista Santos and won the bout via TKO in the first round. Prior to that, he had a three-fight win streak snapped by Patricky Freire at Bellator 141. The streak consisted of decision wins over Rob Sinclair and Sergio Rios as well as a TKO against Joe Duarte. Anderson (13-2, 1 NC) is coming off of a split-decision victory over Patricky Freire in what was a rematch of a bout that took place three years ago at Bellator 98. He is 2-2 in his past four bouts.

Also on the card, son of the late “Kimbo Slice” Kevin Ferguson Jr. will be competing as a professional for the first time. “Baby Slice” has one amateur fight which is a first-round knockout win over Tom Brink.

Joey Davis was a standout collegiate wrestler who signed with Bellator after going 5-0 as an amateur.

Neither of Ferguson's or Davis' opponents have been announced yet.

Bellator 160 will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on August 26 and will be healdined by Benson Henderson vs Patricio Freire. The card will be a part of a combat-sports double header which features an event promoted by Premier Boxing Champions the following night.
