A bout between top 15 women’s bantamweights has been added to UFC Fight Night 106.
Former title challenger and current #9 ranked Bethe Correira will face #13 ranked Marion Reneau in front of her home crowd on March 11. The card will be headlined by a middleweight bout between #9 ranked Vitor Belfort and #10 ranked Kelvin Gastelum.
Correira (10-2) is coming off of a split-decision win over Jessica Eye at UFC 203 in September. The victory got her back in the win column after she suffered back-to-back losses to Ronda Rousey and Raquel Pennington. Prior to that, she had a perfect 3-0 UFC record.
Also coming off of a win is Reneau (7-3) who scored a late third-round TKO stoppage over Milana Dudieva in November. Before that, she lost two straight decisions to Holly Holm and Ashlee Evans-Smith, making her 3-2 in the UFC.
Other matchups scheduled for the card include Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua vs Gian Villante and Edson Barboza vs Beneil Dariush.
