AJ McKee and Emmanuel Sanchez to square off at Bellator 165

Bellator 165 has its first major bout lined up.

Featherweights AJ McKee and Emmanuel Sanchez, both coming off of recent fights, are set to face off on the main card at the WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma on December 2.

The 21-year old McKee (5-0) faced Cody Walker at Bellator 160 mid-August and won the bout with a second-round guillotine, making it the first time he has gone past the first round. Prior to that, he stopped Danilo Belluardo with a TKO in just under three minutes at Bellator 152 in Italy. He was signed by the promotion in 2015 after going 7-1 as an amateur and has competed for them his entire pro career.

Sanchez (13-3), on the other hand, is coming off of a split-decision loss to Daniel Weichel at Bellator 159. The defeat broke his three-fight win streak which consisted of split-decisions over Henry Corrales, Justin Lawrence, and Daniel Pineda.

The event airs live and free on Spike TV at 9 pm ET.
